A touch of Devon Heaven just for you in our gorgeous venue
Greenacre Events venue is situated in the heart of East Devon in the Blackdown Hills near the beautiful thatched village of Broadhembury.
Our farm, resides in a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty in a gorgeous valley nestled in the Blackdown Hills. We have 150 acres of green rolling hills and woodland which we share with our small flock of tame sheep, who will be your only spectators! Maybe the odd cow will wander by!
On a clear day, views from our farm stretch all the way to Dartmoor.
For weddings we have a gorgeous area, perfect for decorating in any way you like, to make it your own. You may want to bring lots of bunting, flags, signs, themed items, dressing up tents, glitter stands – or anything else you can think of! You will have from the venue from Thursday so there will be loads of time for setting up. We also offer camping in our lovely paddocks, so if your guests want to make a real break of it, they can arrive on the Friday and stay until Monday. Locally, only a 10 min walk away, the village offers a small quaint shop, tea room and a medieval pub. There are lovely walks in the surrounding area for your guests – and we are only ½ hr from the sea ! Honiton, our local market town is 6 miles away and is famous for its antiques, pottery and lace.
The M5 is only 6 miles away, as is the A303, so we are really easy to find, although once you are here, you will think you are miles from civilisation!
