Is Greenacre Events licensed for civil ceremonies? No we are not. Generally couples get married quietly with their families a few days before, then hold a proper ceremony here just as if it were the legal bit. A family member or friend can run the ceremony or you might prefer a professional celebrant.
What are the nearest train stations? There is Honiton, just ten minutes away, or Tiverton Parkway, fifteen minutes away. We can recommend local taxi companies for guests without cars. They will know exactly where we are and are happy to come out late at night.
Is there a village nearby?Yes. Broadhembury is only a ten minute walk from us. Here you will find a church, a local shop and an excellent pub called The Drewe Arms. It is a beautiful old thatched village that has not changed for hundreds of years.
