Our spiritual wedding venue in the peaceful Devon countryside offers couples something rare: a celebration shaped entirely by nature, wellbeing, and also personal intention. With no alcohol on site and a focus on clarity, connection, and calm, this is a place where couples can create exactly the wedding they want, whether spiritual, traditional, playful, minimalist, or completely unique.

Mindful activities weave naturally into the rhythm of the day. Meditation sessions can be held outdoors or alternatively in a cosy indoor space filled with cushions and soft light. Yoga classes welcome all abilities, offering gentle movement to settle nerves and bring everyone into the present moment. Sound baths, with their deep, resonant tones, create a shared sense of peace, an unforgettable way to gather loved ones before the ceremony or to close the evening.
Beyond these, workshops of any kind can be arranged. Breathwork, craft sessions, drumming circles, journaling, herbalism, nature art, group coaching, dance, storytelling – whatever the couple imagines, the venue supports. This is a place where creativity and wellbeing are part of the celebration, not an add‑on.
As dusk settles, lanterns glow along the pathways and fire bowls crackle softly. Guests can gather around the main fire pit for acoustic music, stargazing, storytelling, or group meditation. Without alcohol, the evening remains calm, joyful, and deeply authentic – full of real conversation, real connection, and real presence.

Sheltered within a stunning valley near the thatched village of Broadhembury in the Blackdown Hills, you can celebrate without curfews in our fairyland grounds. Your only spectators will be our flock of sheep! And it’s all yours from Thursday until Monday!
What we provide here at your spirtual wedding venue

- No midnight curfew on the Saturday night
- Access to the venue and camping for the bridal party from the Thursday
- Camping for guests available from Friday to midday Monday including all of the facilities

- Approx. 2 acres of gardens and paddocks with magnificent trees
- A gorgeous area with an arch for your ceremony which can even be run by one of your friends!
- 9m x 18m clear span marquee, with 8 panoramic window walls, large enough to seat up to 150
- The marquee also includes Ivory linings and swags
- Also, a stage for your band or DJ
- Wooden flooring throughout marquee is also included.
- All lighting in the marquee is also provided (festoons, paper lanterns and uplights)
- Festoon lighting also throughout venue
- A separate funky bohemian barn with a bar, including glasses, where you can run your own free or donation juice and mocktails. We do also provide one bar staff.
- A large covered verandah with lots of additional wicker seating
- A wooden open fronted field kitchen for your catering – also fully stocked with ovens and everything required. Gas costs are also included
- A fully stocked cabin kitchen with an additional undercover area
- A covered pagoda style bbq with 2 large cooking grills, worktops, and large fridge.
- A large walk in chiller with multiple shelving and plenty of storage for food and drinks
- A beautifully tiled sunroom with a separate shower exclusively for the use of the Bride and Bridesmaids on the Saturday morning

Ceremony
Our beautiful ceremony space, framed by woodland and fields, is a peaceful setting in which to make your promises to one another. The gorgeous arch can be decorated in your own style, creating a space that feels personal, meaningful and so completely yours.
As we do not perform the legal ceremony here, many couples choose to complete the formalities at a registry office with close family beforehand. So this his leaves you free to create a heartfelt celebration at Greenacre, led by a friend or family member, a celebrant or someone special to you.
Make it Perfect!
Whether you choose to exchange rings, share vows, include a handfasting, spiritual blessing, symbolic ritual or simply gather your loved ones in nature, your ceremony can be shaped around what truly matters to you. There is something very special about making those promises beneath open skies, surrounded by the quiet beauty of the land.
The ceremony lawn is simple and natural, framed by wildflowers and long grass, allowing each couple’s chosen ritual to take centre stage. Nothing is imposed, nothing is restricted. The space adapts to the couple, not the other way around.
Catering
As far as catering is concerned you can do as much as you like yourselves, or get caterers in to run the whole thing for you. Our field kitchen is fully equipped with a large oven and warming oven, fridge, freezer, sinks and more. Or you may prefer to have a catering van. Or of course there is our large covered bbq which has been used to cater for 150 people.
For crockery (incl vintage), cutlery and glasses we use Stuart Marasco of A Nice Clean Plate. Again, he couldn’t be more helpful, his prices are extremely competitive and he is always smiling! Just let me know if you would like me to put you in touch with him. A setting for each person for the main meal plus dessert and a wine and water glass is approx. £2 per person. This is all then taken away dirty.

For our spiritual wedding venue in Devon and everything listed above we charge £10,500
We do ask that all outside music finishes by 1am, but you are welcome to continue your evening settled around the firepit listening to storytelling, or just gazing at the stars!
Just one important point to make for the peace of mind of our sheep is that we cannot have fireworks or chinese lanterns here.
Our Marquee
Our marquee measuring, 9m x 18m, is cradled in a gorgeous spot between an oak tree and a weeping willow. It has a pleated ivory lining, a wooden floor, panoramic windows, and warm white festoon lighting with dimmers, uplighters and lantern lights. Also a 6m x 3m stage. You can choose whether you have a more traditional feel, or jazz it up into something completely different.
ENTERTAINMENT AND MUSIC
In addition to your music, you are welcome to bring face painters, story tellers, children’s craft areas, poi, drummers, workshops, yoga sessions, whatever you want.
