We had the most incredible hen do at magical greenacres. All our needs were catered for and more. We felt so loved and looked after. They made the weekend even more special than we could of imagined! The setting was stunning, private and all facilities were great. The tents were so beautifully decorated. We had the best party in the barn one night, had a hot tub ordered in for the weekend and a yoga class! It was such a great way to do a hen do – we could tailor the weekend to our needs (and around our hangovers!). I’ve been recommending GreenAcres to so many people since!! It’s perfect.

‘ We recently held my brothers stag do at Fiona and Gerry’s place and it was just fantastic!! We researched lots of different ‘stag venues’ and this was head and shoulders above the rest for value. Fiona’s communication throughout was perfect, and she was so keen to help us tailor the weekend to what we wanted. The site itself is a perfect private getaway and absolutely everything has been thought of. The whole place looks wonderful, the tents were comfortable, and the bar and outdoor tent were everything a group of stags could want. Having our own space made us really be able to relax, and Fiona and Gerry were the perfect hosts. We really enjoyed their company and getting to know them over the weekend. Everyone commented on how relaxed, friendly and welcoming they were.
If you are looking for a slightly different stag, whilst having the freedom and privacy to enjoy yourselves, this is the place for sure!

thank you for hosting us at your stunning venue. It was the perfect venue for the stag do that everyone wanted. No traipsing up and down streets in and out of bars, just a nice relaxed affair with plenty of booze. The local brew was a delightful tipple and even better, ready in the bar for when we arrived. No one had a bad word to say and the food you prepared for us was excellent. Others comments from the group were, “I know where I’m having my stag now” and “we’re definitely booking a reunion here”. If you’re considering this as a venue where you can entertain yourselves, and spend the weekend with great company in comfy clothes, you need look no further, this is the place. Thank you for an awesome weekend and I’m sure you’ve not seen the last of this group.

Every detail has been attended to with perfection, the decor, the food, drink, the activities, flamenco dancing and yoga, the camp fire and the fact that you have all been so incredibly generous with us. We organised a stag do and genuinely could not have asked for more. The owners, Fiona and Gerry were incredibly helpful in the lead up to the event, and were on hand with a smile throughout the whole weekend. The site itself is fantastic, with enough room to think you have a slice of the countryside all to yourselves. Everything was taken care of, the tents were spacious and comfy, and the facilities were spot on. Now we’re just trying to think of another excuse to go back!

“This was the perfect place to host a stag do for 26 guys. It felt like a mini-festival with the tipis, the barn, the BBQ area and the firepit. We had no reason to leave the site, but there was a nice little pub a short walk away for those that did want to.
Fiona and Gerry were very accommodating hosts who even partied with us one evening. Having the food served over the weekend really made our lives easier too. I cannot recommend this place enough. Everyone on the stag do was talking about how perfect the venue was, so thank you for facilitating a great weekend. Hopefully we do see you again sometime soon!”

We have just spent the weekend at Chicks in the Sticks for my Sisters Hen do and it was everything -and more- that we could have all wished for! Absolutely everything was amazing; the venue, decor, tents, food and how hospitable Fiona and Gerry were. All the food was locally sourced, homemade and blooming delicious! We certainly did not go hungry! The barn is beautiful, and even has disco lights, lasers, mirror ball and speaker surround system for your party!
This is by far one of the best weekends I have ever been on, and the way you looked after all 16 of us was like we were your extended family for the weekend. Thank you again Fiona and Gerry for the best send off for my Sister! She, and everyone there, loved it and you guys completely smashed it out the park. We WILL be back! xx

Mother of the hen here . Wow !!!!! Where do I start ? A big big thank you for making Lauren’s hen do so memorable . The girls ( & Josh ) had a fantastic weekend . Looking at all the photos & seeing all their Watsap comments it sounds like they have memories to treasure . We had the pleasure of coming down for the day & the ” youngsters ” really made us feel part of the group . Some I hadn’t met before . My daughter really has a lovely group of friends . On our arrival we were absolutely blown away! The surroundings suited our theme from the bell tents to the barn. The moment we arrived we couldn’t have asked for better hosts, they were a joy to spend our weekend with. We felt you went above and beyond and couldn’t have made Claire’s weekend more special!
